my understanding is she is not a natural born citizen, yet I hear no-one taking about it except a few people here. We need to bring that issue to national attention, before she Obamas us

I think she was born in America.

I think the natural born question, is not going to do a thing, in this case.

It’s amazing how many people in this country claim to support and defend the Constitution, yet either completely ignore that actual requirement or don’t give a damn.

Several POTUS wannabes aren’t eligible but even on FR you might get called names for bringing that up.

This is something that is completely baffling to me.

When candidates submit their papers and declare their candidacy, it should be mandatory to submit proof of who and what you are, using standard requirements, to prove you are eligible for whatever office you are running for.

Really. Is it me? Why is this so hard to understand, implement, and enforce? It isn’t difficult. The requirements are delineated in the Constitution, at least for Federal office.

I understand fully why they don’t require photo ID for voting, and it isn’t because of disenfranchisement, it is because those who oppose it want to commit fraud. Plain and simple.

But running for office? That can, should, and MUST be enforced, and the fact that it isn’t is disturbing for me.
