The parties self-certify. For Obama Pelosi and the head of the DNC signed a form or letter, I have seen it posted there. It merely says they verify their party’s candidate to be qualified.

I read and saw the accusations about Obama. I sent a letter to the democrat Secretary of state in Cali, who has the ultimate responsibility to verify eligibility as do the others in the other sates.

I said here are a few sources. With all the accusations, maybe you would ask the candidate to submit passport and BC info. I got no response, of course.

The secretary of state in CA: had asked Eldridge Cleaver to provide BC and when he did they DQ’d him for being too young. So we know they have the power. But how to get them to act is another question.

I was working polls in San Diego county and I asked the registrar of voters to look into it and got no response. two weeks before the election, I resigned my poll worker position and never heard anything from the county.

Of course the USSC has abdicated their responsibility on the issue. There were several lawsuits against Obama’s eligibility. Some courst said the plaintiffs ha don standing. That seems odd. Don’t we have the right to fair elections? Hope can voter not have standing in a candidate eligibility case. The rest of the courts just don’t take the case.

It should be pretty obvious to any thinking person that having an unstructured honor system in politics for certifying a candidate’s eligibility is completely nonsensical.

Ripe for abuse by people who have no qualms about abusing.
