I wish they could just drill down, to get them.
We were just talking about Baby Jessica, earlier today.
I know this operation would be different....trying to find exact location to drill. But...just wish they could drill and get to them, ASAP.
Actually finding the correct place to drill is pretty easy with today’s tech. The risk of caving the roof in is a valid concern. The big problem is getting a big enough rig to the drill site - very rough terrain.
My wife was telling me yesterday that she read they are contemplating leaving them in place until October, when the monsoon season ends. I sure hope that is not the case. Granted, they are taking them supplies, but I think being stuck there for that length of time could result in disastrous consequences.
