Gilliam was commenting on the row over diversity triggered by the BBC’s unveiling of its new comedy programming, announced in June, at which the BBC’s controller of comedy commissioning Shane Allen emphasised the corporation’s commitment to “the stories that haven’t been told and the voices we haven’t yet heard”

I watch European shows a lot. You can tell what is wrong with Britain by watching their newer shows, as opposed to the shows coming from the rest of the continent.

I did - maybe you should understand that up until Gilliam’s way of life and work were being attacked that he was an utter, unabashed liberal stacking all conservative thought and supporting feminism and homosexuality and any other progressive cause.
