>>Luckily, there are more options for stutterers these days:
That technology has been around (in larger form) for decades. Works in a limited capacity for some. Doesn’t work for others.
I said it a year or so ago, and it is turning out to be prophetic, but we are turning into a nation without heart. Lose basic decency and the fabric of civility frays to threads, and then to nothing.
This Starbucks barista, coupled with the Whataburger incident last night, are accelerating our decline
It was rude. But why does a clerk being rude in some retail establishment keep being a national story? There’s nothing else going on?
Time for S-S-S-Starbucks to close down and have another nationwide company HR meeting.
I’ve gone through bouts of it all my life.
Most people think I am somewhat intelligent.
Philly is a tough town. Just deal with it like the rest of us have to.
W w why don’t you all f f fade away (talking bout my generation) d d d don’t try and dig what we all s s s say (talking bout my generation)

One of the smarted guys I know is a Marine combat vet that stutters.
Jackasses.

If you ask real Americans, youll get the correct answer.
Communists. Are. The. Reason. Period.
Kill him Ken!
Dude, you are a graduate student. The person behind the counter makes coffee. You will always get the last laugh bud. Let em do whatever they want.
I’m the guy in the sky
Flying high, flashing eyes
No surprise, I told lies
I’m the punk in the gutter
I’m the new president
But I grew and I bent
Don’t you know? Don’t it show?
I’m the punk with the stutter
My my my my my mmmm my my my
G-g-g-g-g generation
My my my my my mmmm my my my
G-g-g-g-g generation
I doubt the barista was joking. People who do have a speech impediment are rightly sensitive because of the amount of mocking they put up with. The man’s name is not “Sssam”. Mocking the way any person talks is simply not done. Especially in a customer service job.
Im just happy Mel Tillis was not alive to see this
I have. My nephew had Tourettes and had a stutter at times. It was mortifying to him and not something he could “shut off”. Fortunately, the syndrome has mostly disappeared but he went through hell. Not funny.
