“Sub Poena” literally “under pain of penalty”. WTF? Is the House entirely toothless, and if so why bandy about such an empty word?

Congressional Subpoenas really have no power other than to cause the person to plead the 5th in public and say nothing, in which case the subpoena would be just a tool for causing bad press for the person...................

The only thing Congress currently does about refusing subpoenas is refer to the DOJ (by a vote of the whole chamber on contempt of Congress). The DOJ has the final say on prosecution for contempt of Congress, which is only a misdemeanor anyway.

Besides, isn’t it accepted on FR that Strzok has turned and Silent Executioner Sessions is planning to take down the Deep State? This is just a chess move like the Awans, right?
