Scarlett Johansson is under fire for her next project with “Ghost in the Shell” director Rupert Sanders.
The actress is set to star in the crime biopic “Rub & Tug,” based on the real life story of Dante “Tex” Gill. Gill was a trans crime boss of the 1970s who ran several illegal massage parlors. In real life, Gill lived his life as a trans man, which led a lot of folks to inquire why a trans actor wasn’t considered for this role.
When the website Bustle reached out to Johansson’s representative for a statement about the vocal concerns, it was sent this response from the actress: “Tell them that they can be directed to Jeffrey Tambor, Jared Leto, and Felicity Huffman’s reps for comment.”
Trace Lysette, best known for her work on “Transparent,” took to Twitter to voice her anger. “I wouldn’t be as upset if I was getting in the same rooms as Jennifer Lawrence and Scarlett for cis roles,” she wrote. “But we know that’s not the case. A mess.”

I don’t know if this is fully relevant to the topic here, but a couple of days ago or so, I came across (while channel surfing) a rerun of a 1983 episode of “Remington Steele”. The storyline was still reasonably engaging, even if it was about 35 years old, and I also certainly do not mind on occasion nowadays a session with Stephanie Zimbalist as she was one of my TV favourites back then.
But I could not help but think to myself as I was watching that it was hard to believe even back then that Hollywood could still produce something watchable and have that reasonable amount of sanity to it, compared to what goes on nowadays with constant LGBTQ or transgender or transracial or other related nonsense.
P.S. The episode I watched was “Steele Among the Living” (if anyone is interested).

This is but one Liberal contradiction. A feminist cannot refuse to compete against a man acting as a woman without rejecting transgenderism, a no-no for a liberal. That could get you thrown out of the Red Hen.
In the end, women just wont compete in women’s competitions dominated by trannys. What’s the point? The events will degenerate into tranny only & that will end women only EVERYTHING.
Feminists are in a real pickle. Either defend REAL womanhood or accept that female only sports are doomed.
