Not saying that this isn’t possible, but I personally gotta believe that most field agents are definitely much more interested in crime than politics. Even the ones strongly slanted to one side or the other don’t take that to work with them. It’s the people at the top. The one’s drunk with power and influence who taint the reputation.

Finding plots before they occur is exactly the reason why we want to be able to trust agencies like this with access to the information they need.

Naaah...our glorious FBI would NEVER stoop so low as to find some 80 IQ individual and manipulate him into doing some things so the FBI could get get credit for STOPPING said TERRORIST PLOT.
