Meghan McCain said on Friday that she is “never going to forgive” President Trump for his attacks on her father, Senator John McCain.
“The View” co-host made the comments during an interview in Austin, Texas at the Lyndon B. Johnson presidential library. She was there to accept the LBJ Liberty and Justice for All Award on behalf of Sen. McCain, according to The Hill.

I know of few other Republicans so reviled by their own party as McPain.
I hadn’t read any of the comments, so it was a happy accident.
McCain lost on purpose.

Yeah, and Trump’s insult was taken back 10 seconds after he said it. It’s the press who played it up 100 times worse sounding than what Trump actually said.
McCain is a hero warrior though many disagree. He was also a piss poor pilot but that is another subject.
As the son of the commander of the Pacific Command he endured great torture by the North Vietnamese. Yes, they broke him. You can break anybody. I have not criticism of this. He did acquit himself with honor although they broke him. The North Vietnamese wanted to release him to score a propaganda score. McCain refused and said “first in first out.” He was honorable. This action cost him much torture.
I salute the warrior McCain. I have absolute total contempt for the politician McCain. He lived in the depth of the Washington Swamp and thrived there. When he unfortunately dies in the near future he should be honored for his service. He should be held in total contempt for his actions as a politician. The civilian McCain is not a good man. The warrior McCain was a good man. I think McCain forgot what he was supposed to be when he came to Washington.
Bury him Arlington with full honors for the warrior he was. He deserves no other honors!
Meghan - maybe you can get your Dad’s Obamacare to cover the cost of some therapy.
His jealousy of the president is easy to see.

Oh, I bet it’s that huge baptist church near their old house on Central Ave., North Phoenix Baptist Church.
It was Sarah Palin who showed up in AZ to support J. McCain when he had a truly viable primary opponent, a genuine conservative. But her loyalty to J. McCain made her go down there to show her support ... and I don’t know who can deny that made a huge difference. THEN he turns around and writes a book claiming that choosing her as his running mate was a big mistake? Seriously? Does his treachery never end. I guess it’ll end soon enough.
