Yeah, I am not seeing that happen. Black women are the most one-sided voting block in the US. 94% for Hillary, 4% for Trump, 2% for 3rd party. That's not changing any time soon. At best, Trump will see that number go to 6% unless the DEMs have at least one black on their ticket, in which case the number could go lower than 4% for Trump.
Black men, OTOH, might go up. Trump got 13%, Hillary got 82%, and 3rd party got 5%. Depending on the employment numbers in 2020, Trump could see his support with black men go to 20%.

Your 25-percent African-American estimate is probably correct. It won’t happen on the west coast, but then there’s not a large footprint of blacks living on the coast.
The question will be if they cross the line (being pro-Trump) to vote for Senators and House members, along with Governors. If that 25-percent did that....it really spells the end to the Democratic strategy held in place for decades.
There would have to be some big strategy meeting after the election, and soul-searching going on....how to convince blacks to return to the party, and their only answer is to go and promote people like Cory Booker as the next ‘great’ Obama. And this just won’t sell.
