Such hack’s are annoying, but it’s a quick fix - change the password to something more secure than “redhen1” and re-upload the files. It’s a restaurant site. Can’t be that hard.

I agree. I’m sure they have the original web pages.
They can put them up and be ready to go in under 30 minutes.
It will be annoying to have to do so, but it’s not that big a deal.
I’m wondering if they’ll ever re-open.
It’s their hosting service that’s getting the attack, they should be able to deal with it efficiently. This is probably not done by an ideological actor but one who just took advantage of the increased traffic to their site, and found vulnerabilities.
