New York Democratic congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is pushing back on House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) characterization of her surprise primary win, saying the Democratic Party is in the midst of a movement.
I think that were in the middle of a movement in this country, Ocasio-Cortez told CNN's Erin Burnett late Wednesday. I feel this movement, but that movement is going to happen from the bottom up. That movement is going to come from voters.

Pelosi dismissed speculation in a news conference earlier Wednesday, saying Ocasio-Cortez's win should not be seen as a larger movement within the party at the national level.
"They made a choice in one district. So lets not get yourself carried away as an expert on demographics and the rest of that," Pelosi said.

Interpretation .... Im busy on the toilet
Ocasio-Cortez - best stay out of parks and dark alleys lest she meet the fate of many that have crossed the old school dems
Pelosi is fine with the Bolshevism pushed by these freaks, but is probably concerned about the racial aspect of it. Many urban Dem areas are seeing their paid minority puppets (black “ministers” and “community organizers”) displaced by Hispanics representing the new majorities in those areas - and those Hispanics have no use for old white lib elites.
Listening to this chick ramble makes me think of the little league baseball champion who now thinks they’re ready for the majors. She is in way over her head already and is pretty certain to crash and burn pretty quickly even with the media doing its best to prop up a young, female COC (communist of color).
Good. I hope the new generation of Democrats overthrow their old white overlords.
The Democrats don’t need white people!
Interesting how the alliances are shaping up. New bed fellows
She may have tapped Sanders voters energy. She may have point.
It causes a lot of friction as blacktivist politicians in office for decades are shown the door; they have no marketable skills, and no other source of income beyond graft.
Has she gone to Venezuela on a facc finding trip yet?
She graduated from BU in economics. Who knows what kind of dismal science they teach there these days.
And I promise to make America a Socialist Paradise! Just like Venezuela!!
Nancy, you reap what you sow.
Pelosi preferred Cortez because she could not pose a threat to her Speakership, like the opponent.
Pelosi loves useful idiots, like Cortez and will allow her to yip snd tap until she destroys hersrlf.
Like most socialists, Cortez is an Anti-Semite.
They just didn’t do it “right” in Venezuela - and the US crushed their paradise...as in Cuba, Hanoi, North Korea, blah blah blah.
While Venezuela will eventually be stabilized (from within or without, the Chavistas will be gone), they will never recover from the brain drain that started years ago (when Chavez came to power). Their best and brightest are never coming back, and they’ll resemble an African country more than a Western one for generations to come. Nigeria has oil - how’s that working out?
I think that were in the middle of a movement in this country, I feel this movement, but that movement is going to happen from the bottom up. ...

Indeed. Young Lexie’s running off from one orifice or the other. A bit murky which but it appears her retention issues have been unleashed.
Hate to break it to you, but she can go on vacation until Congress convenes next January. She's the Donk candidate in a solidly Donk district. So, she wins in November! No problemo, señor! (The bitch's district is 49.8% Hispanic).
Of course, it would be good form to give a speech upon election, but that's optional. Come January, she's sworn in. She's part of the Donk caucus.
