Insurgent Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to take her budding political career all the way to The White House, her mother told The Post on Wednesday.
“Her aspiration is to be the president,” Blanca Ocasio-Cortez, 55, said at the candidate’s childhood home in the Bronx.
“She has been thinking about politics since she was a teenager. She would read historical and political books old and new. She would engage in political discussions passionately.”
Blanca, a 55-year-old secretary for a school in Florida, spent a few days campaigning with her daughter. She said Ocasio-Cortez’s upset victory over Congressman Joe Crowley was like “fighting Goliath.”

Delusional D’rat Diva.
I suppose it’s oaky to dream. And, perhaps her mother is overcome by the moment, which, must be stunning for them. But the candidate already sounds a bit delusional in what she is apparently promising. Adding in, “Oh, and I want to be President,” does not make her sound like a candidate the average person would vote for.
Of course, Bill Clinton said that too. She is attractive and she can, apparently, speak very well on camera. Those are two giant plusses. Let’s hope the pubbies aren’t running a Bob Dole against her.
And she had a blatant anti-Semite volunteer on her team. She claims to know nothing about him. That’s as may be, but it wouldn’t be good enough if she were a Republican. So I wish we’d hammer her a bit with that fact.
As you should. In my case, the new grad bought his Mom too many years ago. The HR manager even said something to him as a suggestion never to bring your parents to interviews and cannot hire him.
What does her father think about this?

And if we continue to allow a flood of illegals who will be able to vote, and if voting machines can be individually programmed to register a vote for her, and if we do away with the electoral college, have corrupt officials in the highly-populated areas churning out ‘votes’, etc. .... who knows.

I once interviewed a 20-something college grad for a job, and she brought her Mother with her on the interview. After that, nothing else mattered, I turned her down.
