That was a given. They’ll do anything to stop his nominees.
The fact there is so much contention over supreme court nominees just indicates:
1) that the court, as defined by the liberal judges, has too much power
2) that the Federal government has too much power
Remember those pre-printed signs from the Gorsuch nomination? They only had to fill in the name before starting to wave a sign sure to convince us of their considered, studied disagreement with the choice.
Doesn’t matter. What matters is that the GOP can get together behind them.
So far it is sounding good.
I think they actually got the wrong name on some of them via a rumor and had to scribble it out. That’s the definition of a core, heartfelt belief, huh.
I would be concerned if they didn’t!

Wasn’t there some kind of nuclear option that the left enacted awhile ago when it came to judicial nominations? Mitch said at the time basically that they will regret enacting that- and supposedly he meant it about a time just like this when Trump gets to nominate judges and the right doesn’t need as many votes or whatever- i don’t fully understand it- but i think this is the jist of the nuclear option that was passed?

How’s that for fairness and objectivity? They were once the party that believed in the American ideal that everybody gets a fair shake. Democrats have certainly lost their way. Beware of what they have become.
