I know one thing: the way things are going the USA has an interest in protecting Kim Jong Un against rebels in NK who would destroy the de-nuclearization process.
What he and his sister really think about the world we may never know, but Kim’s association with Dennis Rodman suggests that Kim was waiting for the right opportunity to make the shift to a modern State.
Trump’s strong but prudent use of the military opened the door I think.
The Koreans are highly intelligent and they know how to hustle. Unfortunately like Americans, they have a tendency to permit the oligarchs and government to gain the upper hand and destroy life for the average citizen.
South Korea came off a big presidential scandal recently. We are still in the midst of solving our own massive conspiracy and sedition at the highest levels of our government.
I take heart that one of the biggest crony capitalist US firms, General Electric, is getting hammered in the marketplace and was recently removed from the Dow Jones Industrials.
With regard to South Korea, I trust its current govt far less than last year’s ousted president.
North Korea will remain complicated mainly because the governments of its bordering countries are so connniving and untrustworthy. (China, Russia, et al.)
