Organized lawlessness is spreading to cities across the United States but the news is almost totally ignored and blacked out by the mainstream media.
These ominous uprisings are taking various forms but the most visible and aggressive ones involve Antifa-style “occupy” socialist and anarchist street mobs dedicated to taking down ICE – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the federal government policing agency that is part of the Department of Homeland Security. The impetus for these actions has been the anti-President Trump Fake News psy-op meme that claims minor children of illegal immigrants arrested for crashing the U.S./Mexico border are being separated from their parents, sent to “Nazi”-like “concentration camps,” and systematically mistreated.

I think you’ve got it pegged just about right. Except there won’t be just one.
A few years back two low IQ malcontents, on of them barely out of puberty, managed to bring the DC metro area almost to a halt using a single rifle and a slightly modified beater car.
Eric Rudolph kept a couple hundred FBI agents and assorted local law enforcement types on edge for a couple of years. And he never left an area larger than 10 miles square.
A married muslim couple slaughtered a whole bunch of County workers during a Christmas party and absolutely no one saw it coming.
And finally one lone dedicated Leftist damn near assassinated a significant portion of the Republican House leadership. He had the weapon, but not the skill set.
Now imagine just a dozen of 1 or 2 person cells, all of them hunters or serious target shooters, spread across the US, who spend some time planning not only the event but how to get away and continue their little game.
They’d tie the country in knots. Leftists all the way down to County Board members would be demanding “protection”. And it wouldn’t be long until those “protectors” started catching bullets, or finding their homes burned down, their wives and kids threatened or worse,
Think Argentina under Pinochet, but multiplied across a country of 375 million people.
It’d get ugly beyond belief quite quickly.
I fervently hope and pray it never happens. I really, really do.
But I just don’t see the Left suddenly stopping their antics and deciding to play within the rules.
Anyway, that’s my take on things. As far as I’m concerned now is the time to prepare. Make sure my family has supplies laid in. Food, water, weapons, ammunition, Medical supplies, and the skills to use them if, may God forbid, things break bad.
In the meantime observe, take careful notes, and keep our heads on swivels.

I do believe America is walking away right now as well. We had our 70 years as well, as seen with the election of President Trump.
I think we will see formation by law abiding Americans with guns form militias to step up and help the LE in an event such as you posted.

I wish that was true, but the data does not support it. When Gen X is gone, this nation will be run by a generation of spoiled brats who never even mowed a lawn and think they all deserve to live like a CEO. They will vote for every free stuff policy that they can. And when they don’t get all the free stuff, they will stage a revolution to take it.
Make no mistake. Our 70 years is still in the future.

Another good example would be that rogue cop (can’t remember his name) a few years ago who tied-up LA for several days.

I really, really hope it doesn’t happen. I really, really hope the other side has at least some grownups who see the edge of the abyss and take a few steps back.
But the hard truth of the matter is that there aren’t any. The Left has spent the last decade driving out the more moderate Dems so there’s almost nothing left but “true believers”. And they are very, very dangerous.
Soros and his ilk have been very, very busy building up a nasty, hateful, and quite sizeable army of violent goons. And they aren’t all low IQ Dead Enders. Say what you want about them but they’ve got College professors, elected representatives at nearly all levels, and a frightening number of Apparatchiks buried deep inside powerful government agencies.
And I don’t think a couple of National election thrashings are going to get them to calm down. In my view they’ll only get worse.
They think they’re “safe” in those little high dollar enclaves they’ve put together. They’re not. They have to come out sometime. And those $15.00 an hour rent-a-cops ain’t gonna stick around if and when the lead starts flying. Hell, my money says that more than just a couple will quite happily open the gates at 3:00 am.
Truth be told I doubt they’ll be much better off on military bases. To begin with most of them hate the military and would have to be dragged there. Then there’s the fact that quite a few Oath Keeper types will be the ones in charge Security.
