Neat jeep...why in heaven’s name would they destroy them?????
For a while, they apparently didn’t sell any of the vehicles when they were through using them. Eventually they started selling them as Army surplus to make a little money rather than throw it away. I thought I had taken a shot of a crushed Jeep that’s right outside the door but apparently not. And I do mean crushed. It’s a little cube of metal. People ask what it is and some of the museum guys tell them, “Your tax dollars at work.”
