TCruz has recommended Senator Mike Lee. Would Lee be able to vote on his own confirmation if he were selected?

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t Mike Lee a never-Trumper who was so full of hatred for Trump that he said he wouldn’t accept a Supreme Court nomination even if it was offered to him?
Mike Lee was never a ‘never-Trumper’ like Kasich, McCain, Kristol, et al. He supported Cruz until Trump won the nomination.
He did say at the time, that he wasn’t interested in a SC nomination, but not because of Trump. And has recently said he’d consider it.

“He (Trump)specifically cited the list of court picks and its inclusion of U.S. Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, one of the Senate’s most anti-LGBT members.”
” Lee also opposes abortion rights and, according to civil rights group People for the American Way, believes many social safety net programs operated by the federal government are unconstitutional. These include Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, disaster relief, food stamps, and regulations on food safety, child labor, and the minimum wage.”
He has voted “pro-Trump” according to FiveThirtyEight,
83% of the time and the ‘no votes’ like Cruz and Rand Paul were on mainly ‘continuing resolutions’ and budgetary issues.
As a free-trader he’s against tariffs.
And because of his pro-Constitution and small gov’t orientation would never become a Souder, O’Connor or even a Kennedy or Roberts for that matter. Thought Obamacare unconstitutional.
“wasnt Mike Lee a never-Trumper”
Yup, and see my post above.
