IMHO, civil war isn’t going to happen until the feral urban dwellers attempt to forcibly take over and occupy the suburbs en-mass via home invasion and open season on whites in their own houses.
The current level of suburban home invasions is just an annoyance at this time thus no wholesale backlash.
The rural folks won’t get involved until the bridge are crossed into their areas.
Another possibility is a future democrat/socialist president and congress dump constitutional freedoms. That would stir up the hornet’s nest instantly.
I anticipate more of the same harassment tactics that we see right now expanding, not sure how, but I expect a wider range of targeted individuals (white, of course). Also, an ISIS style destruction of the symbols and facilities of civilization- libraries, gov't offices, more statues, etc, all coming from the rabid SJW and eco-freak, globul warmers.

Expecting counter attacks. Soros has made sure these ghetto rats are well armed and trained, but they’re really just being led to a slaughter. They have arms and money and leaders and vehicles and mobile phones for communication, don’t underestimate them.
They’ll be hanging around in the streets doing nothing, just like now. It’s a trap! Most whites think they’re too stupid to get organized, but that’s a mistake.
Honestly, why would they attack the bloody suburbs? Do they want to go to a barbecue with white girls?
