Cancel summer recess. President Trump needs to nominate somebody in July. Arrange hearings in the Senate in August. Get a vote in September.

Sen. Grassley has been drum-beating for that already, just for regular judicial nominees. There has already been some indication that McConnell might be willing.

I’d really like to see this done before November. It gives them less incentive to turn out to vote.

Progressives will reall go ape feces when Breyer or RBG go. That would push any chance of a Leftist court takeover back. If both were to go, the court would be strict constructionist for a generation and our constitution would be safe.
