If Hillary had listened to Bill, she would be POTUS today. I hope DemocRATS also ignore Bill.

“Hope the Dims don’t glom onto his advice.”

Me, too.

However, I think that it is rather late in the game for this cycle for that to occur. You could have 10 high-ranking party leaders speak out on this issue, and the energized, angry, psychotic losers in the base would keep on keeping on. My attitude is that of Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars: “Good! Use your aggressive feelings, boy. Let the hate flow through you.”

1972 was the year that the Radicals took over the Democrat Party. Since then they have moved the party even more left and driven out the conservatives and moderates to what we have now.

No Bill Clinton could not run and get the nomination now.

Jack Kennedy was much more Conservative and never was the Liberal he was purported to be, he definitely could not get the nomination.

In both cases the Democrat Party has left both men way behind and has moved to the Radical Left and there will be great violence in 2020 that will make 1968 look tame by comparison.

Trevor Noah who performs catharsis and sells it as humor.

There is one person the Democrats could win with, and that’s Bloomberg, but the radicals won’t go for him.

Oh, no! Letting a dog around Bill brings up those memories of the Death of Buddy. Doggy Arkancide.

You need to put Trump at the head of that list.

No I don’t think so. Bloomberg has the money but not the ability to campaign like Trump, he is dull and boring.

One thing Bloomberg can do though, is pull a lot of Republican votes from the NeverTrumpers.

Even NeverTrumpers will at worst stay at home for the others, if not holding their nose for Trump.

I dislike Bill immensely, but have to admit he is a talented, canny politician.

Completely over rated as a politician
Lost Congress to the GOP in 94 and thankful to Perot got elected in 92 and 96

She wouldn’t listen to him, which is rich irony.

I agree. Next to 45, he’s the ablest politician I can think of.

He was the first to prove you could tell people the truth, and they were ready for it.

He told a hall full of steelworkers there jobs were gone and were not coming back.

NOBODY had done that before. He had them by the end of the speech.

Pappy Smear: I was born in 1966. Reagan by far was the best, I have Trump 2nd as well, followed by Nixon (Watergate be damned), Clinton would be my 4th. He was better than Ford and both Bush 1 and 2 (Old Rockerfeller and Neocon interventionist/regime changers) only better because of Supreme Court Picks (Bush 1 Thomas, good, Souter was a mistake). The Neocons and their Liberal interventionist/regime change friends among the Dems love to send other peoples kids to fight these damn wars, not their own. Hilllary was for regime change as was Obama, their optics were different than Bush 1 (not tons of boots on the ground) But Libya, Syria and Egypt were all Obama-Hillary backed covert jobs. Egypt almost blew up in their face when the Muslim Brotherhood almost took over but they gave the Egyptian military the green light to crack down (we give them tons of military aide). Hillary and Obama’s regime change had different optics than Bush 2, but policy was the same.

Of the 3 dems you rank last, I have them just like you, Carter, Obama and LBJ.

Have you forgotten Clinton only accomplished anything AFTER The Republicans took the House in 1994?

LIke any other reasonably bright psychopath, Bill Clinton can read other people, and the lay of the land, pretty well. If Hillary had listened to his advice in 2016 she would be president today. If Democrats listen to him now, they will be glad they did. But they are over the top now and don’t listen to anybody.

They are in a world of their own, where only the narrowest of dogma is acceptable. That works in a police state, but when they are still trying to achieve one, and still have elections to win, it doesn’t work out so well.
