Tomorrow marks the 18th anniversary of the return of Elian Gonzalez to Cuba, the original ripping away of a child from his family.
It was an event that the Left CHEERED.
A mother (with her husband's blessing . . . if he didn't grant it they would never have made it out and everyone knows that) makes the ultimate sacrifice for her child's future by giving her life up so that her child could be raised in Florida by her family.
We all remember that photo, the one that the Left can never accept was true fascism in action, of the armed thug in uniform, having to scare the kid to death to enable the Clinton Administration to have their FDR moment (you know, the one where FDR tells the ship carrying Jews to safety could not land in the U.S.).
Ripping a child from his MOTHER'S family, the ones that would have provided the child with freedom . . .
Freedom from being used as a politically pornographic prop by a dictator known for killing and imprisoning his critics.
What a proud moment for the Left!
And now, 18 years later, when the Left finally wants to reunite an immigrant child with their families . . . throw Elian Gonzalez back in their face.
And call then what they are . . . PHONIES.
Maybe we can find some viral way of calling for Elian to be remembered.
Elian was distracting from the media worship of Bill Clinton and had to be disposed of.
Ugh. That disgusting Janet Reno and her weird thirty-three-and-a-third voice. What a piece of work.

Trump can declare Elian Gonzales day. Liberals will “obama” their pants.
The Elian Gonzalez incident established a precedent that it was ok for the Government to rip a child from the arms of a relative at gunpoint and put the child back on a plane to his country of origin to be with his father.

Excellent. This came up the other day in another thread but I didn’t realize the anniversary of it was coming up. I said then and still say - that picture of the child being held in the closet by an adult and the goon with the gun threatening them should be shown day and night on all channels..

Even worse was when Jake Reno under the Clintons’s orders,ordered the attack which killed innocent children and their parents in Waco.

That was a horrifically sad day and when I realized our government was corrupted.
