The election also shattered the myth that Hispanics are conservative and would be a welcomed addition to the Republican party. Former citizens of Cuba living in Florida

A Republican GOPe pushes for Amnesty (a bill President Trump most likely will not sign unless it includes the provisions he has already outlined) and the American voters who oppose not only Amnesty but open borders will turn against Republican candidates and vote for Democrats who proclaim open borders as part of their platform giving control of the House to Democrats.

Personally I don’t see it happening that way.

Republicans will do what they always have done, hold their nose and vote Republican.

As soon as the light is shone on Ms. Cortez' policies, she will fold under the pressure. Oh, no doubt, she (and her agenda) will be advanced by the MSM, but it will fail. She will be a non-issue by the time the mid-terms come around

I’ve always thought Kamala Harris’s propensity to say embarrassingly stupid things would DQ her from the D ticket, but honestly, I think that she will be too moderate for her party in 2020 that even her skin color or gender can make up for. I predict that if Bernie Sanders runs, he will either be the nominee or it will be someone left of him.
