Hawaii leaders are weighing in on the U.S. Supreme Courts ruling on Tuesday to uphold President Donald Trumps travel ban, a policy that put the state at the forefront of a months-long legal challenge. Lt. Gov. Doug Chin, who led Hawaiis challenge against the travel ban when he served as attorney general, issued a statement saying, I hurt today for Hawaii families and others who have experienced discrimination and scapegoating due to President Trump's bullying remarks and orders.
Current Attorney General Russell Suzuki agreed and added that the office continues to believe that the travel ban is "unconstitutional."

Absolutely ! Don’t be clueless or flippant , my good man . Loads of true hearted patriots here. We hold the line , against all odds !
Trump needs to declare martial law suspend habeus corpus ( like Lincoln did ) and crush the Left. Totally wipe out , allow the wiping out , of Leftistism in our entire country .
No quarter . Forward to the foe . Give the word sir , give the word .
Steve Case just recently threw his million dollar hat into race, thus killing off the chances of the preening dimwit Doug Chin moving into a condo in DuPont Circle. And he will have to give up his Lt Gov seat which is being contested for November, and is a sweet gig with virtually no duties.
Nah! Their “won” is MIA and their relevance is fading fast.
A warning from Justice Thomas holds more lava than anything in HI.
Hey Hawaii Lt. Gov Doug Chin and Liberal Federal District court judge Derrick Watson, I want to ask you two quick questions:
1) Does the Immigration and Nationality Act vest the power in the President to restrict those who can enter the US, whenever he thinks it is best interest of the United States?
2) Was Donald Trump President of the United States when his Executive Order was signed?
If the answer to both of these questions is “yes” then even those with only the most basic, rudimentary skills needed to understand the English language could see that this EO WAS Constitutional!! Any thoughts, screeds or complaints to the contrary are just ad hominem attacks on the law!!
Having been to hawaii numerous times in the past and can state that no where is racial discrimination against whites more noticeable than that state. Between the native islanders and their japanese inbred cousins they are a racist, discriminatory and, as you state, arrogant lot.
Not too surprising that the Racist in Chief obama claims hawaii among his numerous homelands.
I lived in Hawaii for over half of my life. I live on the mainland now. The Democratic/Liberal/PC voters and government have ruined the islands. Even with the beaches, ocean, weather, etc. they have turned it into a shithole. Incredibly expensive on all levels and the filth of the homeless encroaches everywhere. Oh, and they encourage homelessness and crime by not doing a single thing about it.
...and how is the ninth circuit going to enforce their ruling?
Since you need to have valid government issued ID papers to get to Hawaii there are not a lot of illegal aliens there. That ocean is a big wall. A really big wall. The only illegals they have are people who overstay their Visas.
The Hawaiian economy is basically built on people flying in and leaving a lot of money and then flying out.
“Current Attorney General Russell Suzuki agreed and added that the office continues to believe that the travel ban is “unconstitutional.””
I don’t care if he believes that robots are stealing his medicine.
I am certainly not one. I prefer to make decisions based on logic and facts; not silly, stupid emotion.
I know, since the libs/dems have destroyed every other industry in the state.
Hawaii has dogmeat farms where extreme cruelty is practised, and their humane society will do nothing.
It was a really cool volcano, I thought. Is it still percolating?
The epsiodes shot in Hawaii are just incredibly bizarre. Throwback to 1964.
It seems that we need the Supreme Court to immediately overturn every illegal liberal ruling for awhile. I’d day about 47 times should do it. It’s just like graffiti; you have to keep painting it out immediately until they give up.
Same way they did the last one. It will have to be relitigated up to the SC again. They’ll just word it with a slight difference to keep it bottled up until resolved again. Who knows, maybe one of the 5 will get some phone calls about pictures being released and change their minds.
Yes, but how will they enforce it?
A new injunction stops everything until it get slapped down. They consider tying it up in court as good as enforcement.
