Are they out of their cotton-picking mind??
I grew up hearing that phrase. I never heard of any racial motives attached to it. I still use it every now and then. Next time I use it I had better look around for the thought police first.
Who knew this is a bad phrase? I have heard it used for 65+ years.
Someone needs to collect all the terms we cannot now use so we can cleanse the English language.
