Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Monday said calls for opponents of the Trump administration to publicly harass Cabinet members are not American, arguing Democrats should focus their energy on winning elections.
I strongly disagree with those who advocate harassing folks if they don't agree with you. ... No one should call for the harassment of political opponents. That's not right. That's not American, Schumer said from the Senate floor.
Schumer added that he understands the frustrations some members of his party feel when Trump complains about bullying [and] harassment even though the president uses it as a regular tool almost every day.
But the presidents tactics and behavior should never be emulated. It should be repudiated by organized, well-informed and passionate advocacy. As Michelle Obama, a person who represents the same kind of fineness that weve always had in America ... said, When they go low, we go high, Schumer said.

Still lays blame squarely at Trump’s feet, so Schumer can GFO.
I watched his statement on Youtube, he didn’t condemn Waters, didn’t even mention her name. That took about 10 seconds proceeded and followed by several minutes of his attacking and condemning Trump. It was essentially a wink and nod to those calling for harassment of Trump officials.
Obama agrees entirely:
Dear Chuck
Go f*** yourself.
Best,
L
Racist Mad Max hate whitey.
If Maxine worked for any major company in the USA, she would have been fired for violent code of conduct. We as the people should demand she is fired, no compensation, no retirement.
Captain Obvious.
He is lying. Look, his lips are moving.
...When they go low, we go high, Schumer said....
It’s all lip service. It’s said with a Wink, wink. It’s all just talk.
A large portion of his lunatic base think that hatred, harassment, and even violence are the means to the end they want.
Some of the Democrats with higher level cognitive skills (IQ > 55) get it. Idiots like Moron Maxine are preparing the red carpet for Republican gains in 2018 and beyond.
Well, at least he said something, faint though it may be.
Leftists are nuts. I was at an academic conference for most of last week where every meal, instead of grace, was preceded by somebody spontaneously launching into a three-minute hate of Trump and the GOP. I left every time, but they still never got it...they live in their own bubble universe.
Chuckie may have a better notion of what the Rules Of Engagement will look like in a modern 4GW civil war. Maxine is living in a Dunning-Krueger cloud of confusion.
Why hasn’t Maxine Waters been arrested? If what she demands isn’t the incitement of violence, I don’t know what is because escalation to the commission of violent crimes is both foreseeable and inevitable. Or, are they just waiting until someone gets killed first?
18 U.S. Code § 373 - “Solicitation to commit a crime of violence”
Mad Maxine and her Shock Troops will make great ads for the next 8 years.
Assuming the GOP-e doesn’t get in the way.
100x worse than Pelosi and it will reach everywhere.
Schmucky’s just worried about his own arse if the rage should get out of control. Same with Nanzi Pelozi.
My, you’re so polite......and can really put together a great letter. LOL.

ACTION NOW---TALKING POINTS: In todays letter to the Office of Congressional Ethics co-chairman, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton writes: In encouraging individuals to create crowds who will push back on President Trumps Cabinet members at private business establishments and in seemingly trying to prevent these Cabinet officials from obtaining basic necessities without fear of assault and violence, Rep. Maxine Waters seems to be violation of House rules, specifically:
<><>A Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House shall conduct himself at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House. [House Rule 23, clause 1.]
We hereby request that the Office of Congressional Ethics conduct a preliminary investigation into whether Rep. Maxine Waters violated House Rules in encouraging attacks on Cabinet officials.

BACKSTORY Rep. Maxine Waters addressed a rally in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 23, telling a crowd: If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them! And you tell them that they are not welcome, anymore, anywhere. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1Fu3g1MGHY
