She’s a cousin of Meryl Streep. In my opinion, Meryl Streep is a great actress. Her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in the 2011 film “The Iron Lady” was excellent, because she was good at showing the personal cost to Thatcher of her political career and I thought she respected Thatcher (although Streep was criticized by the left at the time for even playing the role).
Like all of Hollywood, left to her own devices, she’s a political idiot. However, I don’t think she had anything to do with Ms. Red Hen’s actions. the thing that, to me, is really scary about Ms. Red Hen is that her husband is a professor at VMI.
Meryl Streep is an evil hypocritical rapist enabler and nothing less. Who cares if she is good at pretending? She must have been fairly good at pleasing Weinstein early on in some way or another, because he gave her good career. And she called him Gd and pretended she had no idea what he was doing daily for decades. She never protected the other, younger, poorer actresses. She protected her bottom line so she could be preachy and rich and elite. She proclaimed her greatness at awards shows while simultaneously unzipping Weinstein’s fly and shoving young ingenues’ faces into it. I hate her.
