Just want to finish my thoughts on this. I don’t think people ought to be posting the address; however, I do think the likelihood of JimRob being sued where the information is readily available elsewhere is so close to zero that it does not justify the histrionics. I know you were probably doing what you thought was right. If you were bothered by it, better form would have been to privately report it to admin and let them decide what, if anything, to do about it rather than publicly bragging that you had tattled to the moderators.
If you report someones post you should tell them. That is proper form.
In this age of ANTIFA and other radical political groups and with all the craziness, I think you have understated the potential for anger and action based upon hatred. Today and maybe for the next next few days I estimate it will be high. The good news is conservatives don’t seem to be as violent as extreme leftists and that goes back to at least the late 60s.
I spent 28 years estimating risk and when people’s lives are possibly in danger it never hurts to go an extra few yards and what did it cost, deleting three replies.
I think the owner should post a comment or policy and say no personal addresses and put a banner across the top of the page for a few days. That is the safest and most responsible thing to do.
