There you go again, completely wiping out all states and their governments in two paragraphs. To yo its like the republic doesn't even exits. You MUST be YANKEE. Your scenario will be limited to few urban areas so IMO it will be both.

I can see a scenario where Trump is impeached on phony evidence and convicted and removed from office. I can see about 30 states passing ordinances not recognizing the outcome of said impeachment and recognizing Trump as President. I can see Trump flying to one of those states and setting up a a new federal govt there. I can see those states then seceding. Yes I can see that happening.

All very organized and procedural.
