Conservative commentator Glenn Beck walked out of an appearance on CNN on Sunday after being questioned about the future of his conservative media company TheBlaze.
Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter brought up a report from The Daily Beast stating that TheBlaze had undergone another round of layoffs and that a deal to sell Beck's news outlet to the Daily Wire had fallen through.

Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter brought up a report from The Daily Beast stating that TheBlaze had undergone another round of layoffs and that a deal to sell Beck's news outlet to the Daily Wire had fallen through.
Theres this new headline on The Daily Beast that your companys in trouble, that you were trying to find a buyer? Stelter asked Beck.
Is this related to the point about people not talking to each other? That if you want to create that media company, theres no interest? Whats going on with that? he asked.
Wow, Beck replied, removing his microphone. Brian, thanks a lot, I think thats the most ridiculous question Ive ever heard.
Im sitting here, ready to talk to you about the detaining of children and parents, trying to break families apart, Beck continued.
We want to stop it and you want to play those games? Have a nice day, Beck said, before walking out of view of the camera.
What game did I just play? Stelter said.
Frankly, I thought Glenn deserved a chance to address those reports, Stelter said. I hope hell come back and talk about it.

Beck is a sleazy scumbag. I’m enjoying his misery. I wish only the worst for him.
When Beck was at Fox, and he had that history-front...he had the magic ticket. I think he should have lined up a dozen PhD history guys and just done that for an hour each day. All this goofy stuff that he got into....just made himself into a fool.
Somebody should have warned Glenn “It’s A Trap!!”
Commie News Network probably had bowls of these as table snacks to push the unhinged one along the insanity path.
Sad end for a man who once unraveled large parts of the Obama Network.
Doing a mock swearing in of a wantabe usurper didn't help either.
And joining with Samantha Bee - now that was a real smart move. Looks good on both of them.
Breaking News:
We have a report from a reliable source, that Lee has a fetish involving classic cars which may be a reason for his pending divorce.
Lee has not responded to our phone calls and messages.
Did it on purpose, assuming he would leave and therefore not have the discussion he was there to discuss.
Nota GB fan, but seriously who wouldnt think this would occur if they regard you as conservative?
If he can’t stand up to the “poor man’s Jason Alexander”, then he may as well just retire.
Yep.
It's always a trap at CNN and I suspect he knows it. While I agree that he was justified in walking out, I can't help but think that was his plan all along......
We all know Glenn is a drama queen......
Beck was stupid to not have a canned answer. It’s no secret that he’s run the company into the ground.
I wasn't talking about Trump, I was talking about Beck also I din't say it was a good response, I said he apparently had one ready.
Glenn Beck is irrelevant, and has been for some time. I always thought he was a clown and he proved me right when he put his face in crumbled up Cheetos in an attempt to mock Trump.
On that you are right.
He had one or developed it quickly, and it wasn’t a good one.
After my response, I thought you may have meant it the way you did, but I figured you’d come back and explain.
I’m glad you did.
Under the understanding I had at at first, it was reasoned to mention Trump acting that way. That wouldn’t play in with your clarification, and I’m fine with that.
They told him he was coming on to talk about the detention of kids, then asked this question about a dubious report about his company. It’s no wonder he ended the interview. That’s a questionable and unfair practice.
Imagine if they invited President Trump on to talk about North Korea, then insisted on asking about Stormy Daniels. Should Trump deal with that?
Also going suicidal over routine butt surgery doesn't help as well.
On his radio show during the primaries he called Trump supporters “brownshirts”. I haven’t listened to any show since. (I was a big supporter...having gone to D.C. twice) So long Glenn Beck.
“Beck should be ready for this sort of question. Its not out of line actually.”
“He was ready, or did you not notice that he refused to answer and walked out?”
Walking out can be effective in some cases if you are a big enough guest and it is a sought after interview.
Walking out is not being ready in this case. If anyone is blindsided by CNN/MSNBC, then they are simply not paying attention. Glenn is savvy enough to know how they might come at him. Being ready is knowing how to cleverly flip the subject back to what you want to address. I doubt CNN’s audience really gives a flip about “The Blaze” or “Beck’s empire”.
