Sarah Sanders had a hard time getting dinner in the D.C. area on Friday. She and her family were asked to leave the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Va.
Jaike Foley-Schultz, who says he is a waiter at the Red Hen, shared a post on Facebook that said his boss kicked out the press secretary and her party.
The post went viral when the director of Clean Virginia, a left-leaning energy nonprofit, shared the post on Twitter, along with a handwritten note, purportedly from the restaurant, with the note: 86 Sara Huckabee Sanders.
The term 86 is restaurant shorthand for cutting people off, asking them to leave, or throwing them out.
Sanders confirmed that she was asked to leave in a tweet this morning.
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for [President Trump] and I politely left, Sanders tweeted.
She also got in a dig, noting that being asked to leave said more about the owner than her.

no they should go and about their own business or else the leftards win.
It’s worth noting that...
1. Sanders accepted the restaurant owners choice not to serve her.
2. She left peaceably and did not contact the media. A waiter did and after it was picked up by media Sanders only confirmed what had happened.
3. She did not whine about how they should have been forced to serve her part.
4. She has not hired lawyers or gone to the Supreme Court.
Just a few points to compare and contrast against the inevitable “bakery” comparisons.
I agree.
And our United States military should refrain from wearing anything that might help identify them as such.
Policemen should consider the same.
Also, contact: Main Street Lexington 540-319-4181 to let them know bigotry is not acceptable.
The owner of the hate restaurant is reportedly the executive director of Main Street.
By evicting Sanders isn’t this restaurant practicing border control?
Here’s what Yelp has up on the screen:
“This business is being monitored by Yelp’s Support team for content related to media reports. “
hmmmmmm, need to Yelp Yelp.....
And they are the ones who call other people Nazis.
I think that might just mean they are zotting material that is copy and pasted from news sources- but it appears they are allowing personal reviews of the place, and even comments fro mthose that haven’t eaten there?
They’ll lynch somebody. And then the bloodlust will really ratchet up.
Um sweetie that opinion did not say you can refuse to allow people in your business due to their politics, race or religion. The baker did not tell the gay couple they could not purchase another pre-made cake. or other treats available, and didn’t make them leave. They just refused to make them a specific cake with a progay marriage theme.
This story is worthy of being posted many, many times.
As I understand it, the Lexington Virginia area is fairly conservative.
Spread the word, far and wide, that only Leftists are welcome at the Red Hen in Lexington Virginia.
Let’s make the Red Hen in Lexington Virginia the most trending story on ALL media.
Reading about this at other sources, I read comments others have made. “Hey, if the cake bakers don’t have to serve homos, they don’t have to serve Trumpers based on ‘morals’.” So it’s OK if you agree politically with the business, but it’s not OK if you disagree politically. I find this all so hard to follow. The hypocrisy of the libs is something else. The acrimony that we have been observing from the libs is very concerning. Someone is going to get hurt, or killed, if it continues like this. Personally, I would just avoid the lib restaurants and eat where this kind of crap is not happening. Liberalism is a mental disorder. These people need help.
This is the seventh story - thread - about this still on the front page of breaking news.
More on page two.
RED HEN PUTS POOP IN FOOD!
As a recovering restaurateur of 40 years, I’m saddened to see what this restaurant did. They are an embarrassment to my former profession. Hate is not hospitality. I can only hope the market sends them the same message.
“for a dab of pot roast and a desert scorched with a plumbers torch”
I looked at the websites pictures as well, it looks like the portions are tiny, a quick look at the vegetable medley revealed one tinycarat and some arugula mishmash, probably some spinach... sunbrite garnishes a squirt of some reddish presentation oo-lala... followed with a torched meringue and an astronomical bill. very trendy, probably trite, cloth napkins, and truffle oil generously squirted on everything in a dazzling swoosh... yawn.
I’d support their right to do it so long as they support our right to do it.
