Former NASA climate scientist James Hansen famously warned Congress almost 30 years ago to the day that human activities had put the world on the path to disaster, but two scientists now say the global warming godfathers predictions were wrong. Cato Institute scientists Patrick Michaels and Ryan Maue compared Hansens temperature predictions to real-world observations and found his supposedly highly unlikely forecast with the least amount of warming was the most accurate.
Global surface temperature has not increased significantly since 2000, discounting the larger-than-usual El Niño of 2015-16, Michaels and Maue wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed.
Assessed by Mr. Hansens model, surface temperatures are behaving as if we had capped 18 years ago the carbon-dioxide emissions responsible for the enhanced greenhouse effect, the two scientists wrote. But we didnt. And it isnt just Mr. Hansen who got it wrong.
Models devised by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change have, on average, predicted about twice as much warming as has been observed since global satellite temperature monitoring began 40 years ago, they wrote.

The Buffoon, Hansen, presents a target rich environment. Start here (if you like videos):
Or here, if you can handle brilliance:
I got Hansen confused with the founder of the weather channel, who is a global warming skeptic. Hansen is not a kook. He’s a whore.
The overall temperature of the earth cannot be measured with enough accuracy to determine whether it is actually warmer or cooler than it was 30 years ago.
One of my main arguments against global warming theory. And then they try to tell us they know what the average temperature was 100,000 years ago.
I was wondering lol
All of the ring leaders in the global warming alarmist camp are first and foremost political activists. This is a massive play for money and power with a bunch of useful idiots tagging along for the ride. Anything resembling actual science turned against them two or three decades ago.
