In case there was any remaining doubt of where the president stood in the race for Florida's next governor, he cleared things up Friday morning with a tweet.

DeSantis was one of the three Republicans that Trump endorsed in succession on Friday, as U.S. Rep. Martha Roby of Alabama and Gov. Henry McMaster of South Carolina also received praise from Trump's tweeting fingers.
But long before Friday, DeSantis's campaign was touting the president's "endorsement" on its campaign mailers and website. That's because Trump tweeted in December in support of DeSantis, saying he would "make a GREAT Governor of Florida" and that he was a "true FIGHTER."

Ron DeSantis has much less money, but with Trump's endorsement will gain lots more.
Also, the anti-DeSantis adds have reappeared on the airwaves, and they are misleading as hell. Big Sugar is paying for them, laundered through a fake-conservative group. I'll post more on the guy behind it later.

Did not know anything about him until I read his wiki page. When I saw Yale/Harvard JD I thought uh oh, and then we are going to see he did new world order grooming through a Rhodes scholership only to discover that the guy was an SEAL officer.

President Trump certainly knows Ron DeSantis a whole lot better than he knows Adam Putnam, and the Democrat candidates would be totally unhelpful toward Trump.

About 2 months ago there were radio ads in Soth Florida trashing DeSantis - paid for by a Soros group. No trashing of Putnam. That made me want to support DeSantis over Putnam.

Saw a similar ad in Central FL. DeSantis apparently “never voted to stop illegal alien passports”, and is for.... “open borders”.
So, weasel nazi Soros paid for a negative ad against “open borders”? Can’t make this up. They are 15-30 sec slash ads, and all false.

Looks like Trump has this down. Tweeting is appropriate, whereas the RNC trying to stack the deck is not.
Desantis has been extremely quiet, have no footprint in SW FL. Way too late to be starting a campaign. The Yale graduate is a big red flag for me.

DeSantis is an excellent Tea Party conservative, who could be in a position of great power in the coming House cleaning. It should be made clear that DeSantis was a US Navy Lawyer, assigned to DevGru. He was not a SEAL operator- but legal advisor to DevGru’s commander. He is a very bright and conservative man.
Putnam comes from Florida agri-business. The largest business in FL aside from tourism. The Bushes latched on to him— but not in the same way Jebbie “latched” on to Charlie Puffer Crist (a true state embarrassment now..., confirmed pole puffer married to a billionairess beard/cover wife- now in US House, having previously joined ambulance chasing pot-head/medical marijuana obamaumao-bot John Morgan’s “law firm”). The Bushes (through JEB!) connections to Mexican
elites who are controlled by the drug Cartels (plain to see) ties right in with the years of “drug wars” and showbiz policing that both families did— even as the product came into the country to be laundered into .... real estate. Talk to senior former DEA about this. Both families choked on the Peruvian marching powder business. And now we have Boehner stumping for “Cannabis” riiight (better off as a caddy, Boehner ole boy).
The donors to Putnam tell part of the story. FL ranks 10th in beef cow production— these are raised as feeder calves and then shipped to Texas (which aggregates feeders such that Texas is the largest cattle/beef producer in the US. Lot of people don’t know this about the beef business:Access to nearly year-round grass gives Florida a significant advantage in profitable beef cattle production. In fact, three of the nation’s five largest beef cow-calf ranches operate in Florida, not far from tourist attractions like Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.
Should also mention that Disney World (a, large land owner, whose “entertainment”/ABC corp people are, to put it mildly— huge gay supporters in the “msm”)— has a large cattle ranch within it’s ownership— and is tight with “lower tax” agri-use for their expansion into more useless twaddle tourist traps. It is a love-hate relationship olde FL people have with this monstrosity of a public juke box.Mexican turisto mentality prevails— get their money.
Publix Corp? Could not find a more conservative family run 50 year old plus company of quality grocery chain (with profit-sharing keeping the kroger union types out- in fact just ran them out of the Raleigh Durham area. Kroger closing over 14 stores). Deep FL producer-buyer connections to FL agriculture and citrus (Polk County).
There is a lot here to digest. The Bushes are desperately trying to hold onto their dynasty- and need to go just as much as the Clintons. Anyone read about George P. Bush “supporting” Trump only to have a fundraiser cancelled. JEB is such a gdmnd loser. It’s here:

DeSantis has been extremely vocal in calling out the Müller witch hunt and the deep state collaboration. Anyone who watches Lou Dobbs knows this well. Ron is a member of the Freedom Caucus.

Ron’s a founding member of The House Freedom Caucus (who Mitch and Ryan HATE), and is on the Judiciary Comittee. They are digging up the FISA warrant fraud, and the originating CIA operation led by the communist mole, Brennan. Etc.
