Not to be paranoid, but hope this wreck is investigated in a proper, professional manner. Rule out any sort of “Kamikaze” type attack. After all that has happened, and continues to happen, such incidents involving Republican candidates/officials need to be looked into...Scarcely one week since she won the election.

He was not “long-serving.” The former governor of SC, Mark Sanford had recently made a comeback as U.S. Representative.
He had quite a lot of defenders on FR when he ditched his wife and four children - not to mention the state - to run off with a South American floozy. However, there has been no sign of them since he said something negative regarding Donald Trump.
I think you need take off the tin foil hat and relax a bit.
