After spending a gazillion dollars for law school and countless hours in the books. why give up the Bar Card?

I believe most states are now requiring Continuing Education. They just don't register if they pick up a job that doesn't need it....but can re-register in the future.

Gazillion dollars?? I know few attorneys who spent a gazillion dollars.

Thousands of law school grads give up the practice of law every year. Being an attorney can be a terribly stressful and often disillusioning experience for a normal human being. If you compare the drop-out percentages of MD’s, engineers and other professions to lawyers, the lawyers in private practice will come out on top.
