The bitter war of words between Democrats that could lead to another state government shutdown in New Jersey raged into the night during the year's longest day. The state's Democrat-controlled Legislature defied Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy by passing their own state budget Thursday night, despite the new governor's vow to veto it. And the body's top lawmaker accused Murphy of being dishonest and dictatorial. That came hours after closed-door negotiations broke down, with Murphy standing by his tax hike proposals and alleging his fellow Democrats are foolishly following in the footsteps of the state's previous -- unpopular -- governor, Republican Chris Christie.

I love it when the ferals over there chew on each other. I’m actually on the side of the Democrat lawmakers, though. The new Gov. is a real piece of work.
Grew up in NJ and lived there 60 of my 75 yrs. This Output is a one term Gov if I ever saw one.
NJ has a history of electing Liberal gov’s and then becoming outraged as they raise taxes unmercifully to pay for yet more giveaways so as to buy more votes.
Voters get pissed and elect a Rep who promises them if not to lower taxes at least to not raise them. Then when they realize what they have done (voting for a Republican) they become horror stricken and turn on him beating him up unmercifully in the local media.
NJ voters are really, REALLY f’d up!
This is one of those “pass the popcorn” moments in state government. LOL.
Imagine that - a Democrat, um, I mean, a Commie governor (Is there any difference? Of course not), whether in New Jersey or elsewhere, acting dishonestly and being dictatorial.
I'm shocked, just shocked...
Who am I fooling? Of course neither I nor anyone with even half a brain is shocked at this kind of behavior from a Commie governor...

We have friends here in the SF Bay Area where the wife was born and raised in NJ. They’ve had to go back there and buy a home for one of her daughters by a former marriage who’s husband left her then died. They tell us in living color detail how perverted the process of buying a home in NJ is ( the process is designed to fleece the buyers by both the government and the RAT lawyers that have bought the government), then in her second breath she goes on to “extol the virtues of the NJ government at all levels!” From what I can see, NJ is as close to a Crime Family as you can get in government.
Popcorn, get your popcorn...
