Germanys leading car manufacturers have called on the European Union (EU) to scrap its import tariffs on U.S. cars, which are far higher than those imposed on European cars entering America.
The firms called for all tariffs to end, on both the EU and U.S. side, to boost free but also fair trade across the Atlantic, passing the message to the U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell.

What about trucks? It is my understanding there is a sizeable EU market for American pick ups. The market for trucks might even exceed that for cars.
One wonders about BMW. The largest BMW plant in the world is in South Carolina. Might not some models of South Carolina BMW’s be exported to Germany?

Interestingly, German auto CEO’s have been arrested for using onboard computers to circumvent haarsh pollution regulations. Those regulations might be jeprodized as well.
