The 1965 Immigration Bill was the wound that killed us.
Take away the immigrants & their spawn from that bill and the Democrats would be a small regional party.

It surprises me how few people are aware of that, and therefore it is seldom mentioned, even here on FR. And of course, the primary motivator of that horrible legislation was non other than The Swimmer, Sen. Teddy Kennedy.
