President Donald Trump’s executive order ending his administration’s policy of separating migrant families is far from a solution to the border crisis, immigration advocates are warning – and could lead to immigrant children being locked up in detention centers with their parents for “months or years.”
“The President doesn’t get any brownie points for moving from a policy of locking up kids and families separately to locking them up together. Let’s be clear that Trump is making a crisis of his own creation worse,” said Karen Tumlin, director of legal strategy at the National Immigration Law Center, in a press call on Wednesday.

Trump’s order also seeks to modify the terms of the latest settlement on the 1997 Flores case, which prohibits the government from keeping migrant children in detention for more than 20 days

No person who EVER crosses the border illegally has a legitimate claim. If they had a valid claim they would cross legally. Crossing illegally is confessing that they are trying o attack these United States and they should be dealt with as non-uniformed enemy combatants.
Not deport. Execute. Once you execute the first couple dozen the rest will stay on their own side of the border.
There is a third option.
The invaders are fingerprinted, photgraphed, retinal scanned and then chucked back across the border and told in no uncertain terms that if they EVER attempt to enter the United States again, legally or illegally, they (and everyone with them) will be shot as invaders.
When some come back, verify who they are and then shoot them. no trial needed. Only defending the borders against enemy attackers.
If they admitted that it existed yesterday that would have ruined their narrative that Trump HATES dark skinned immigrant children and babies and wants them tortured silly.
But now they get to sue Trump for being mean by keeping families together.
