Actually, I just came upon this Psalm a few minutes ago by way of Psa 141.5. The oil of anointing is like a reproof that rolls right off of a wise man. The wise takes it to heart; he wouldn't delight in the misery of someone who had corrected him, or cause evil through his position of authority. In fact, he would pray for him. That's unlike the scorner who perceives an insult which straight away soaks right to the bone, motivating him to retaliate. Same words, different reaction completely.
