Republicans have a plan to oust embattled Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein "on Friday" as part of a concerted effort to "undermine" the Russia probe, Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee claimed in a surprise outburst that brought a congressional hearing to a temporary halt on Tuesday.
The House Judiciary and Oversight committees were questioning Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz over his bombshell report into FBI and DOJ misconduct during the Hillary Clinton email probe.
As Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, questioned Horowitz, Jackson Lee of Texas repeatedly interrupted and asked permission from Oversight Committee Chair Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., for permission to make what she called a "parliamentary inquiry."

The idea that President Trump was obstructing justice (The Russian Probe) when he fired Comey is ludicrous.
That the Russian Probe was on Trump's mind when he fired him?? Well, duh...It would be impossible NOT to have it on his mind.
Take a look at the Comey memos of his meetings/calls with the President. Comey himself tells the President that the President can fire him at any time. AND Comey says it more than once.
Then there's the fact that the President didn't even know about his part in the Russian Probe until he took Office and met with Comey.

Sounds like a Rat scheeme to insure it doesn’t happen. Fire Rosenstein anyway.
“Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee alleges..........”.......also that she graduated from “Harvard”. Was that the name of some grade school in Texas or someplace else? Certainly not “the” Harvard University.
I believe Comey was "baiting" the president in this exchange. Planting the seed. Almost daring Trump to fire him.
This was all set-up to get Trump. If these co-conspirators could get Trump to take the bait and fire Comey, they would have an excuse to open the Russian investigation, calling Comey's firing obstruction of justice.
Otherwise, why would Comey make a statement that Trump could fire him and then repeat it several times? Not the behavior of a reasonable man but of a co-conspirator trying to eliminate the new president who was not supposed to be elected to begin with.
At this point, the co-conspirators are scrambling trying to do damage control after their preferred candidate, Hillary, lost the election.
Now their plot is being exposed and the tables have turned on them. The investigators and Trump are returning fire and exposing these treasonous officials to the light of day.
Comey has gone to ground and has been pretty much silent since his book tour. I'm sure his lawyers are telling him to shut his pie hole before he sticks his foot in it any further.
And now Comey himself is being investigated.
Just desserts for the man that led the non-investigation into Hillary's email/server mess. Let's hope he gets his due.
