While the case has not received a lot of mainstream media attention, the details are sordid. Not only does the case raise serious national security and obstruction of justice concerns, it also suggests a blatant cover-up on the part of the lawmakers involved.

To date, the Awans have not been charged with a single crime related to illegally accessing and stealing congressional computer servers as part of a sophisticated criminal enterprise.
Given what’s at stake here in terms of national security and the security of our citizens, our government must demand accountability, even in investigation-saturated and -weary Washington.

The reason it seems to be ignored is because more important fish are being fried.
The case trial could and likely would raise issues not yet ready for trial
Because it's not helpful to the MSM-Democrats and their project to undo the results of the 2016 election.
Because it is being run by a Democrat operative and several House members need to be impeached. This one scandal has the potential to remove several House members and that would cost them any chance of taking the House.
Does it involve gun grabbing? Does it involve Stormy Daniels? Does it involve illegal aliens? Will it help Democrats? No? Then it’s not important.
Simple. Because ALL of the MSM is pulling for the Democrats. It's why they have completely ignored every scandal in the Obama regime, in the Clinton candidacy, in DOJ, in FBI, in CIA, ad nauseum..
80% Republicans are either highly blackmailable or on the take. No investigation possible.
It’s being ignored because not enough GOP are talking about it on the air. This type of scandal requires a bit of explaining before issuing a reaction. I don’t see anyone of prominence willing to do that. The president cannot and should not be the only one bringing up inconvenient facts.
Someone like Ted Cruz or Rand Paul could easily explain this in less that two minutes. I don’t know what Laura Ingraham is doing since I rarely watch TV. Sean Hannity trades in opinions, not necessarily news events.

Not only are the Awan boys guilty of espionage, they had their own scams running on the side, shady real estate schemes, bigamy, zoning violations, fraudulent loans, and more. Just state and local charges would be enough to put them away for a couple of dozen years.
