A joint committee from House Ove rsight and House Judiciary are conducting a hearing today at 10:00am EDT with DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Unlike the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday the House team has representatives far more knowledgeable of the issues. Hopefully, expertise will deliver better questions.
Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte has direct primary oversight authority over the DOJ. Chairman Trey Gowdy comes from the aggregate Oversight/Reform Committee. Far more House members have read the 568-page IG report. Due to a better informed group of members we are more optimistic for detailed, specific, confrontational and challenging questions to draw out the key issues. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

I want someone to ask him which crimes they were concerned with having been committed
I report, you decide, says the IG.
So based on some law of logic (dont remember). If B (Investigation is bias), then A (decision not to prosecute not bias) CANT be true.
Also, absence of clear evidence, doesnt mean something is true. Was your decision not to prosecute based on bias. No, it was not based on bias. IG conclusion is no evidence of bias in decision. KEEP DIGGING. The evidence is there.
I want to know too...

I bet after watching this Strzok is crapping his pants while calling his lawyer demanding to retract his offer to testify to Congressional Committees.
Thank you.
There are some tough guys on the majority side of this committee. I believe Louie Gohmert is one of them and a former judge. Hes very plain spoken and should do a good job along with DeSantis.

We spoke of it this morning.
Oviously Cumminmgs was hit in the head one too many times during the 60s by Cops. :)
Or not nearly enough.
You could be right. Nunes defended Gowdy’s affirmation of the doj/fbi stonewalling by saying Gowdy was focused on a particular issue and we needed not to interpret him beyond that.

No, you please tell me. I see your point. :)
‘’’I want someone to ask him which crimes they were concerned with having been committed’’’
I agree. We need more discussion and questions about the laws regarding leaking info, use of personal computers for government data, etc.
(no respect meant to hogs)
As I mentioned to another poster, the name Butterfield keeps dancing in my head. Seems from long ago...
someone needs to ask if the wording had not been changed from grossly negligent to extremely careless if that could have affected prosecutors decision to not prosecute?
Electronic records show Peter Strzok, who led the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server as the No. 2 official in the counterintelligence division, changed Comey’s earlier draft language describing Clinton’s actions as “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless,” the sources said.
Tear into them Trey...
