A joint committee from House Ove rsight and House Judiciary are conducting a hearing today at 10:00am EDT with DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Unlike the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday the House team has representatives far more knowledgeable of the issues. Hopefully, expertise will deliver better questions.
Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte has direct primary oversight authority over the DOJ. Chairman Trey Gowdy comes from the aggregate Oversight/Reform Committee. Far more House members have read the 568-page IG report. Due to a better informed group of members we are more optimistic for detailed, specific, confrontational and challenging questions to draw out the key issues. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Did you see any of the hearings yesterday? Wray and Horowitz were involved in circular confirmation; both citing each other as proof of their narratives; 'There's no bias and everyone is being objective. Any perceived problems are minor and can be corrected with re-training'.

If you saw the Secretary of Homeland Security during Sara Sanders briefing, 10,000 of 12,000 minors held separately were sent north by their parents in the hands of human traffickers. Majority of the others were separated because the agents determined it would not be in the children's best interest to stay with their parents. This is a microscopic issue used SOLELY to DITRACT the MSM and the American people from the serious crimes in the OIG Report.
