Excellent post. Trump has so many obstacles in his pathway it’s a modern miracle he has gotten done what he has.He is a true miracle worker.
Manafort has always been involved in political circles and well known in the European countries leadership as being ‘for hire’. He is good at what he does and they all know it. He plays to win and they know he’s well connected.
This investigation has to do with the Ukraine elections....but they’re trying hard to tie it to Trump as a Russian connection because manafort was working for Putins man in Ukraine.....

The only issue I have - If the people who keep espousing that we should vote for RINOs, that is fine. However, these people have nothing but MAJOR hypocrisy all over themselves when they cast any negative aspersions on the McCains, McConnells or any other RINO.
And it wasn’t that they didn’t know how to come up with oppo on Trump like they were “ready for” with typical R candidates. ALL PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS were stacked, with oligarchy controlled guys (gal) on either side. Let the peasants vote, who cares. With the exception of the two outsiders, Reagan and Trump. All candidates were owned or about to be owned. They all will work for money, to hide peccadillos, or, for W Bush, to protect Daddy.
We are not a free country and now more of us see it. Ironically, people have been led to water to hate Trump, the one person who is trying to help them. There doesn’t seem to be too much hope to turn around the country’s decline into tyranny. We are still mostly frogs in a lovely warm pot, only somewhat concerned about some pockets of heat.

Stone and Caputo, who did not previously disclose the meeting to congressional investigators, now say they believe they were the targets of a setup by U.S. law enforcement officials hostile to Trump.
They cite records - independently examined by The Post - showing that the man who approached Stone is actually a Russian national who has claimed to work as an FBI informant.
Interviews and additional documents show that Greenberg has at times used the name Henry Oknyansky. Under that name, he claimed in a 2015 court filing related to his immigration status that he had provided information to the FBI for 17 years. He attached records showing that the government had granted him special permission to enter the United States because his presence represented a “significant public benefit.”
There is no evidence that Greenberg was working with the FBI in his interactions with Stone, and in his court filing, Greenberg said that he had stopped his FBI cooperation sometime after 2013.
Greenberg, in text messages with The Post, denied that he had been acting on the FBI’s behalf when he met with Stone.
An FBI spokeswoman declined to comment, as did a spokesman for Mueller’s office.
