CNN, MSNBC BURY FBI AGENTS GETTING FREEBIES FROM REPORTERS

CNN and MSNBC buried the inspector general report’s revelation that a number of FBI agents were receiving unauthorized free handouts, such as dinners and tickets, from reporters.

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz noted in his report on the Clinton investigation, which was released Thursday, that his department found numerous instances in which FBI agents were improperly in contact with reporters and were receiving a number of free perks from their relationships. The department “identified numerous FBI employees, at all levels of the organization and with no official reason to be in contact with the media, who were nevertheless in frequent contact with reporters.”

FBI agents’ relationships with the media extended to “improperly receiving benefits from reporters, including tickets to sporting events, golfing outings, drinks and meals, and admittance to nonpublic social events” and could have encouraged some agents to leak information to the press, Horowitz implied in the report.

That thing is worth some bucks, my friend sold his Orange Crush version of it a few years ago, my black one, don’t remember what it was called, is 50 long years ago gone.

I keep thinking why are the FBI's rules/policies for it's rank and file so vague and or ambiguous. Nothing substantial? I have no idea what that means. Just the fact the FBI has an internal policy like that should make most recoil in disgust not to mention concern. Has anyone in the FBI received gifts from the Clintons?

#1 Primer law enforcement agency in the United States?

Why don’t we have names, both agents and reporters? Why are they protected? National security?

IG Report Check

It was a little cocker spaniel dog in a crate that he’d sent all the way from Texas, black and white, spotted. And our little girl Tricia, the six year old, named it “Checkers.”

America deserves to know the names of the reporters who bribed FBI agents.

tickets to sporting events, golfing outings, drinks and meals, and admittance to nonpublic social events”

How many times does this occur? Every day? Every week? Or are we supposed to believe this is just a one time shot at the freebies?

I'm thinking the FBI guy doing drunken back flips in the bar recently, shooting a patron in the process...Was that a "Freebie" night?

So wait, reporters aren’t reporting that reporters were paying off fbi leakers. What are they teaching journalists in our fine leftist controlled institutions?

Indiscretions by liberals are held to a different standard. A much lower one. They are so special. A Conservative gets his door kicked in for less.

Define "substantial value"

I expect the FBI and other gubmint bureaucracies have very "liberal" and flexible definitions of what that means.
