* Conte, a father-of-two, was charged with criminal mischief and harassment
* Residents have stuck up for Conte and one neighbor said the kids were trying to throw a dead snake into his wife's car
A Long Island man was arrested for shoving a 12-year-old boy to the ground after he caught the child recording his wife on a cellphone.
Anderson then calls the woman a 'low life' seconds before a man charges at him shoving the boy to the ground. The man curses and smashes Anderson's cellphone on the ground as the boy yells for help.
Anderson's father, Christian, called Conte a 'coward' but residents in the area are sticking up for him.
According to neighbor Michael Shain, who lives across the street from where the incident happened, the kids were allegedly trying to throw a dead snake into the woman's car with her two kids inside.
'There's video of these kids running around with their bikes, stopping cars, getting in front of cars where they almost basically force you to hit them,' he said. 'These kid are not innocent by any means. They started it, and unfortunately, the father went to protect his wife and two small kids.'
Christian, however, says there is never a reason for an adult to put their hands on a child.
'Even if they throw a rock at the car, it doesn't justify beating up a child. It just doesn't,' he said.

I wish I could find the longer video showing this kid harassing the guy's wife and calling her a whore and other unsavory things.
“Little Alex” has no ground to stand on and isn’t going to get a penny (outside of the taxpayers providing three hots and a cot when he inevitably goes to prison).
Classic thread is right, that was quite a few years ago but quite apropos. In this case the kid is sadly only getting confirmation of his bad behavior from his loser father rather than taking it as a well deserved lesson.

The only person in this story with a mugshot and criminal charges is Mr. Conte.
That conviction is going to be hard for him to explain at the civil trial.

just in time for Father’s Day, his children have a dad who is facing criminal charges. By next Father’s Day. his children will be visiting their dad in jail.
This country already has enough children whose father’s are in jail.
As the kid in the video says, “We’re going to sue you now.”

Were the police called when the snake was thrown into the car?
If not, that accusation is only conjecture and there appears to be no evidence a snake was thrown.
The person involves in this incident that will see the inside of a lock-up is Mr. Conte.

I think I am adept enough at controlling my emotions to not knock a 12 year old child to the ground and end up facing criminal charges and a be civil suit.
Maybe your right, he should have just paid a local illegal kid to deal with the punks.
Assault a man’s wife and he may take your life. Assault his children at the same time? With a snake that may not be dead or could have poison left in it’s fangs?
That kid is lucky he is still upright and breathing on his own.
Yes, maybe you would...the first time. Maybe the second and even the third. But what if it went on for months or years? I suspect you would hit your limit as well.

The spoiled brat learned a good life lesson. Maybe it will help him. I doubt Mr Conte will insist on payment for the lesson though, being a nice guy.
A criminal charge is not a conviction; and even if he was convicted of some bogus trial, that fact can’t be used in a civil trial. Even more so if does an Alford plea.
I seriously doubt the prosecutor can find a unanimous jury to convict him.
And this right here defines why we have such a problem with this country's youth today. Parents who defend their kids no matter how wrong they are, and kids who get away with everything knowing mommy and daddy will always come to their rescue, no matter how wrong they are!
