You probably mean a total of three which were granted. I really wonder how the Turk Muslims slipped in. Most asylum applicatons are rejected for the reason that the applicant is "unlikely to adapt well or be happy in the unique culture of Japan."

Successful asylum applicants are going to need at least two of three of the following:

1. Fluency in the Japanese language.
   
2. Marriage to a Japanese national.
   
3. A professional skillset which is rare or in high demand in Japan. (Professonal athletes being the best example here).

   An extreme strength in #3 might overcome weakness in #1 or #2.

If joking about it is what upsets them so much why the hell aren’t they furious that Mexico and Central American are doing exactly that to us.

Years ago (70s 80s) when Japanese companies sent people to oversee Japanese businesses in the US with their families, when they came back to japan they and their family members were ostracized as ‘outsiders’.

25 million foreign welfare cases and cultural aliens being let into Japan WOULD cause the politicians who allowed it to be VERY quickly voted out of office.

Leftists in Europe don’t care what damage their policies do as long as it weakens things enough to make it easier fro them to seize total power for their ideology.
