In late October of 2016 James Comey knew Donald Trump’s candidacy was as dead as a doornail. That must be distinctly understood or nothing wonderful can come from the story I am going to relate. Time soothes the edges of old emotions. We forget the shock of that election night. Almost two years now of articles and TV takes, even books, make Trump’s election seem understandable, even sometimes inevitable.
But that’s not how it was then. When FBI director Comey and the FBI dropped their late October Anthony Weiner surprise, they did so fully confident that Hillary Clinton would win. What we now know for certain from the Department of Justice inspector general report that came out Thursday is that the FBI chose to disclose the Weiner email fiasco to protect a Clinton presidency, a foregone conclusion, from potential claims from Trump that the FBI had rigged the election.

Comey released his information about Weiner’s laptop for one main reason: to protect the future Clinton administration. We had a hint of this before. Now we can see it is blatantly true. It’s a disgraceful misuse of his office. The only solace we can take is that karma and irony are alive and well. And Trump’s election has exposed Comey’s perfidy.
So he knew she had broken the law and still supported her. The head of the FBI.
No doubt Hillary would have sicced the FBI on all of her political enemies as soon as she took the oath.
And we know the FBI would infact and indeed, for richer or poorer, in sickness and ACA, to work with Hillary against America.
Interesting theory, but it meets the timeline for both Weiner’s laptop and Comey’s speech.

I keep hearing that there are several dozen agents who want to be subpoenaed to testify before congress so that they can convey information which would shed light on the whole Hillary debacle. Did the IG get their input? Will congress?

I question the author’s premise.
What we knew in the days before the 2016 election is that Trump was consistently getting 10,000 to 20,000 or more enthusiastic supporters to his rallies.
Meanwhile, Hillary would attend a rally with 500 unenthusiastic supporters.
Hillary’s past scandals and her 9/11 Parkinsonian Collapse were already baked into the cake and Comey’s Weiner Surprise probably had no impact on the 2016 vote.
And with Mueller acting with impunity and arbitrarily jailing people, they’re still acting on the hope Trump will be overthrown.
Thank God for President Trump.
Now if He would send some help, we might have a chance.
I question the author’s premise.
When did the FBI determine how Abedin would access such emails and how she would print them out?
When did it occur to the FBI that Abedin might have accessed such emails from her home?
When did it occur to the FBI that Abedin might have used a computer that was already in her home? A home which she shared with Weiner?
This is the FBI we are talking about? The legendary Federal Bureau of Investigation? I fail to understand how the existence of these thousands of emails escaped their investigative net until such time as the NYPD seized that very computer.
As a follow up question; how many such unsearched computers existed in Abedin's home at the time of the Hillary Clinton investigation? Perhaps there are others? Will Weiner have to commit additional felonies before anyone thinks to look for them?
It's pretty obvious why Comey has to appear so incompetent. To believe otherwise is to be convinced that Comey is a criminal.
The NY detectives were about to spring this wide open. Comey came out to contain it. He would not have let this out otherwise.
Another heaven sent event, because, I think it DID make a difference, ie the truth coming out on Hillary. It turned just enough people in some key states to give Trump the victory.

I don’t question it. I knew that massive election fraud would ensure her win. The shock was that the fraud committed could not overwhelm the turn out supporting Trump. I still remember that morning like it was yesterday. I waited until late morning to read the news and kept the tv set off because I didn’t want to see her sh*t-eating grin all over the media outlets. I could not believe that Trump had won. It was the third happiest day of my life.
You’re conveniently forgetting that every Poll taken in the entire universe predicted a giant win for Clinton.

The reader is left scratching their head asking, "what am I missing"?
Simply, the facts listed don't match the conclusion.
