Ron Howard has one question on his mind, and it has nothing to with his latest film, Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Honest question to #MAGA minders, the 64-year-old tweeted Thursday. When was America at its greatest? Can you tell me an era that reflects the Again that you hope to return to?
The Oscar-winning filmmaker and former Happy Days actor quickly started a conversation with users who had different opinions of President Trumps famous slogan.

“When it was run by teenaged Negro lesbians from Mexico!”
Twitter is what it is.
1960 to 1964.
That too.
MAGA is NOT, I repeat NOT about any particular date, but rather returning the pursuit of our liberty-loving founding principles that throughout our history have led to us becoming a more prosperous, just, and compassionate society, regardless of whatever injustices or other sufferings or evils had not yet been overcome.
Simply put, during times when we vigorously pursued those founding principles, our country became greater, and during times where many people lost sight of them - such as over the last 30 years - our country diminished.
So no, MAGA does NOT mean that we want to bring back any evils that have been overcome by that pursuit of liberty, it means we want to vigorously return to that pursuit of liberty so that we can AGAIN be on a path to overcome the evils that lay before us.
And Ron Howard played his son and wasnt an idiot lib yet.
If you have time, watch this national anthem from the 1991 National Hockey League All-Star Game in Chicago. This is Chicago! Compare that to those that are paid millions and choose to kneel during the anthem.

When our products were dominant in trade and most respected. When we weren’t trillions in debt to China, Saudis, and others — and to our own seniors as well.
When was America at It’s Greatest?
America (more precisely, the UNITED STATES!) IS and HAS been great for every single day of it’s existence since July 4th, 1776.
The greatness will cease if we allow the ever metastasizing tumor of cultural marxism and anti-constitutional tyranny to continue unabated.

I likely never thanked you for changing my life....
1. The founding
2. Manifest Destiny
3. Canal and railRoad building
4. Ellis Island
5. Rapid industrialization
6. WW I
7. WW II
8. Space Race
9. Reagan
10. 1950s-60s advances in medicine
11. whenever universities used to foster and convey the truth.
12. whenever news media used to foster and convey the truth
13. whenever Hollywood used to foster and convey truth and Americanism
That’s for starters.
It was great until Pappy Bush threw the election to his little leftist buddy.
Imagine a world where Reagan was succeeded by a conservative rather than a globalist hack!
I'd wonder about MAGA haters, who probably think that America is declining because of the horrible, evil, very bad Donald Trump. (I can now imagine the political rhetoric in 2020: "Really make America great again by dumping Trump!1!!!111!" I can even imagine hearing that in Hillary Clinton's voice.)
Can they name an era that reflects the time to which they wish to return? Maybe Monday, November 7, 2016? (I can imagine a current reply: "Are you better off now than you were just over 19 months ago?")
Nailed it! San Francisco (where I was born and raised) was solid Republican for most of the century until 1964, when John Shelley became the first non-Republican mayor in over 50 years. He welcomed the hippies into town and screwed the city into a leftward spiral. The 1950s were awesome and great, by the 1970s was getting awful and grating.
I would say the greatest generation was the one born in the 1870s or 80s. My Grandparents were born then. They saw TR, The Spanish American War, WWI, and WWII. Their children fought in WWII.
They were born into a world of ox carts, horses etc. Before they all died out, they had witnessed space travel, jet aircraft, and computers. They lived through the most remarkable times ever.
For libtards: when was the climate at its greatest? Ironically the average date they would give would about match the conservative average for America at its greatest.
